Tier3
What is Tier3?
Let me explain what Tier3 is by first explaining what I refer to as tier 2 services are. Tier 2 service include sites like Digg and reddit. They let users find interesting stories and decide what's important. These sites are essentially layers on top of news sites and blogs, sending traffic to whatever's popular.
Tier3 is a layer on top of Digg and reddit. It finds what's popular on those sites and puts together the most popular stories and links. Because there's such a small number of social news sites like Digg and reddit, Tier3 is almost an unnecessary middle-man. Still, this will be a fun experiment for me, and I'll see what I can do with it.
