FSBO Search Albany
For Sale By Owner Albany has been operating in the Capital District Region of New York since 1988. They have been helping people sell their homes faster and eliminating commission costs. I worked on the site on and off since January 2008, helping them along the way towards the release of their new site in October 2008. My work for them ranged from providing an efficient search backend to implementing Ajax frontends.
When users visit the site, they can search for properties using a variety of parameters including number of beds, baths, price range, property type, and location. Most of my effort went into combining these search filters in a highly efficient manner on backend. Not only does the search run quickly, but my code is also very readable, a huge benefit for myself or any future developers who may need to alter the code.
I also worked on the frontend, mostly on the email to a friend and email sender features.
