I’m not sure why, but I grew to dislike the new design from a few weeks ago. It may have been the colors, the background image, or just the style in general, but for whatever reason I knew the design had to go.
So, I took action and redesigned the site this past weekend. I feel the new design is a lot cleaner and better represents what I originally wanted from my site when I redesigned at the beginning of the month. Just like the old template, this one also receives an ‘A’ from YSlow, Yahoo’s website performance analyzer.
Speaking of YSlow, today I had the honor of having lunch with its creator, Steve Souders. If you’ve heard Steve speak or read his books, you know he’s a really smart guy and knows how to convey complex topics to different audiences.
