I’m done with the redesign of the site. I made a few changes in the last few days. Most importantly, the site scores an ‘A’ from YSlow, Yahoo’s web page performance analyzer. Page load times on my site have been optimized by followwing a few guidelines. Among these guidelines are making few HTTP requests, compressing components, avoiding inline CSS, and placing JavaScript at the bottom of the page. If you’re interested, you can read more.
I’ve also done a complete refresh of my portfolio. I created a very clean design that presents my portfolio in an organized fashion. I think it’s a big improvement over what I previously had.
Along with the refresh, I also added a few items to my portfolio. Among these are my work on TIME.com, RealSimple, SPC Digital, and a few WordPress blogs I made templates for. Check them all out on my portfolio.
