Redesign, New Computer, and Winter Break

December 9, 2008

My final week of the semester is surprisingly not my busiest. I only have two finals, both on Friday and both relatively easy, so I don’t have as much studying to do. The past two weeks, however, were a totally different story. Tons of organizing and work for Ski Club trips and multiple projects/papers due made the past two weeks probably the busiest of my life. Thankfully, I got everything in on time without hitches.

Winter break’s going to give me time to do alot of stuff I’ve been waiting to do. The most important two being a 2009 redesign for this website as well as being able to do a ton of work on the project I’m currently involved in.

I ordered components for a computer I’m building for myself on Black Friday. The parts are sitting at home right now, and I’m looking forward to building it this weekend. It’s going to be loaded up with an Intel Core i7 processor, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 video card, a Western Digital VelociRaptorhard drive, as well as a few other components.

I should get back to studying, but before I go, check this out to see the unhealthiest of food that RPI serves. At 1.5x the recommended daily value for calories and nearly 3.5x for sodium, it’s absolutely disgusting.
