One Crazy Week

April 27, 2008

Last week, was one very busy week for me. First off, I had four tests: Biology and Chinese on Tuesday, Discrete Structures on Thursday, and Economics on Friday. That involved a decent amount of studying.

Second, I had a Biology project due Thursday afternoon. I essentially had to create a few webpages on a topic of my (and two friends) choice, and make a few webpages about it. We chose the flu virus, and covered 4 aspects of it. You can find our work here, the design is based off a template, but the coloring and a few other design/layout choices are my own.

A few weeks ago I was elected the RPI Ski & Snowboard Club Vice-President, my responsibilities primarily covering advertising and organizing meetings. Unfortunately, The newly elected President, Heather Denver, will most likely be leaving RPI at the conclusion of this semester, and I am her successor. If I choose to take the position, it will mean a lot more responsibility and work, so I’m still considering it. In the mean time, I’ve been meeting with a few people, trying to gauge if I really want to take on the role of President.

Finally, in the midst of everything else, I had a Computer Science homework due, one involvingGeometric Hashing, which I found both interesting and challenging.

So this week is my final week of classes, and the following week I have exams. Soon I’ll be free for the summer to work for Time Inc. Interactive. Until then, I’ll be busily studying.
